 In Colorado, grassroots campaigns like ours don’t get automatic access to the ballot. We earn it! One signature, one conversation, one volunteer at a time.

Starting in January, we need 2,000 valid signatures in each congressional district to qualify for the ballot. 

That work can’t be done by paid consultants or out-of-state groups. It has to be done by Coloradans who care enough to show up.

Your time matters.

This campaign is people-powered, not chaos-powered. We work slowly with intention, like the turtle & rabbit childhood story. We do the slow and steady. 

Because this is an official campaign, there are rules we all have to follow. We’ll help you navigate them, but here are the basics:

All signature collection must comply with Colorado law:

• Signers must be registered Colorado voters
   
• Signers must live in the correct county or district
   
• Duplicate signatures are not allowed
   
• State-approved petition formats must be used
   
• Deadlines and validation requirements must be met
   

Some volunteer activities may count as in-kind contributions depending on scale and resources used. These must be reported correctly under state law.

We’ll provide guidance so volunteers don’t have to guess.

For official rules and forms, the Colorado Secretary of State provides clear public guidance.

• Availability and preferred roles
   

This information is used only for campaign organizing and legal compliance.
